Michael Kokozos has been teaching social studies and education courses for nearly ten years. He holds a bachelor's in sociology and psychology and a master's in policy and administration from New York University. His doctoral degree is in Education, Culture, & Society from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kokozos has taught in Turkey, Greece, and Canada. Currently, Dr. Kokozos supports #PassTheMicYouth—a youth-led podcast and blog that aims to amplify youth voices, shine a spotlight on youth activism, and provide educators with resources to cultivate critical consciousness.
