Wei Wang received her B.S. degree in Mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, in 2004. In 2008 she received her Ph.D. from Division of Applied Mathematics of Brown University with Prof. Chi-Wang Shu as her thesis advisor. She then spent two years at Center for Turbulence Research at Stanford University as a postdoctoral fellow. She has been with Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Florida International University as an Assistant Professor (2010-15) and Associate Professor (2015-now). Here is her CV (pdf).
