Cenk Tuncay was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from the University of Istanbul and majored in Economics and Business Administration. Cenk came to the United States in 1968 and put his experience in international work to use with the United Nations for four years. In 1988, he began to lead Trigon International, Inc., a New York based corporation. Since then, he became the President and CEO of the corporation, which works with international sales of armored carriers, fire trucks, and more. His corporation is now engaged in geothermal energy exploration and the assembly of electric production plants in Turkey, Peru, Mexico, and beyond. Trigon is also heavily involved with the Export Import Bank of the United States of America in the financing of large export transactions. Tuncay has been active in charity work with the Archdiocese of Washington D.C., and has put his extensive international expertise towards the advancement of the FIU School of Integrated Science and Humanity, with a particular interest in the international arena of human brain research activities. He now serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of FIU’s College of Arts, Sciences & Education.
