Dr. Michael Rosenberg is a retired orthodontist who practiced in Miami for 37 years. While in active practice he served as President of the South Florida Dental Association and Chairman of the South Florida Dental Foundation. In addition, he served as a Trustee of the Florida Dental Association and as a delegate to the American Dental Association. After retiring in 2004, Dr. Rosenberg began to devote more time to leadership roles in the non-profit sector. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Switchboard of Miami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Voices for Children Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of HistoryMiami. He currently serves as Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Environmentally Endangered Lands Committee, and Chairman of the Board of Governors of The Kampong. In addition, he currently serves on the City of Miami Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Dean’s Advisory Board of the College of Arts, Sciences & Education at Florida International University, the Board of Trustees of the Miami Foundation, the Board of Directors of Zoo Miami Foundation, and the Board of Trustees of the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Dr. Rosenberg has been a lifelong resident of Miami, and currently resides in Coconut Grove with his wife, Diane.
