Dr. Kevin Grove is Associate Professor of Geography in the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies at FIU. His research examines the biopolitics of resilience, with a focus on Caribbean emergency management, urban resilience planning in US cities, and restoration ecology in the Florida Coastal Everglades. He is the author of Resilience(Routledge, 2018) and a number of articles in geography and interdisciplinary journals, including Annals of the Association of American Geographers, Environment and Planning D: Society and Space, Geoforum, Antipodeand Security Dialogue.

Dr. Grove's main areas of interest are resilience theory, disaster management, urban resilience.
