Dr. Serravite started his academic career teaching exercise physiology for graduate students in Argentina. After obtaining his doctorate, he was an adjunct professor at University of Miami where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses, as well as being actively involved in exercise physiology research. Furthermore, he developed a new course called “growth, maturation and physical activity” that was introduced to both, the graduate and undergraduate catalogues. His exercise physiology background it’s complemented with a vast field experience developing high performance athletes. Dr Serravite had the opportunity to teach graduate and undergraduate courses as an adjunct professor prior joining FIU as a full time instructor. Currently, he serves as the program leader for the MS in Physical Education Sport and Fitness Studies.
