Daniela Fenu Foerch is a professor and researcher of early childhood education in the School of Education and Human Development within the College of Arts, Sciences & Education at Florida International University. Daniela has experience teaching face-to-face, hybrid and fully online courses using different platforms and has earned the FIU Remote Teach Ready credential. She is the former program director of the Early Childhood fully online undergraduate program. Her research focuses on the nurturing of emotional intelligence in young children.

Daniela is active in program and curriculum development. She has presented her research to the local, national and international community and published several articles in the area of early childhood education. Aside from her teaching, Daniela currently serves as the principal investigator for the WeFEEL and the RULER programs at FIU. In the past, Daniela served as the PI for the Quality Counts Grant and Developmental Assessment Services Grant.
